Studio clean-up!

I'm pretty good about keeping the studio clean and did a number on it yesterday. Because its open to the public, part of the reason is pur
e ego. But, the other reason is that I really enjoy the space so much more when it's clean and organized
. My thoughts are disorganized enough on their own!

It's my hubster's birthday today, so I'm taking the day off from the studio to spend it with him! And, here's the kind of sweetie he is: We're going to the Home Depot store an hour away to get counter-tops for some old funky office counters/cupboards I've installed on the porch at the studio. I need them for storage. Maybe we'll even get the counter-tops put on today. We're also building a make-shift "roof" to keep the rain off of the storage area.

It feels like MY birthday!

Happy Birthday to him! It is so nice to have a clean studio--too bad mine is rarely clean :) But, not many people see my mess!

I love a clean studio! I am with you -- my mind is messy enough . . .
My husband's birthday is Monday -- when is your birthday -- mine is last day of May.

I know what you mean about disorganized mind. Gary gets up pretty early you know, better watch out.

Hi Ron! It's too damn cold, really, for me to visit Gary. I'm sure I would freeze to death. He'd have to bury me out there in the yard, and the beagle would be pawing at the icy ground until the snow melts. Then, in the Spring, he'd dig me up and Gary would thaw me out, shipping me back to California where I belong! I think it's best for all, in the end, if I stay put for the winter here at the coast (where I swear it was 78 degrees yesterday).... :)

Hi Linda, Meredith, Ang and Ben - I passed your birthday wishes on to the hubster. He was so impressed that potters from all over were wishing HIM a happy birthday. It is pretty amazing! We had a great time yesterday on his birthday. Today both of us celebrate un-birthdays. Expecting to have a blast!

Hi Judy! Hope you have a great time on your husband's birthday. I think I like making my guy's birthday special even more than I enjoy celebrating my own day. My birthday is March 24, and I am pretty consistently an Aries (the ram) in my behavior. Lots of jumping at top speed up the mountain, occasionally falling down and then running full speed ahead again. My hubster, on the other hand, is Capricorn, the goat. He is the steady climber, one foot in front of the other, patiently watching my running, falling, running, falling. We both reach the top at around the same time. Ha!
