I put these "peace" rocks out for the taking last week... Free.
My sister and I made them one day while sitting around before the election, talking about the state of the world and hoping for change.
When people came in to the studio/gallery and were interested in my pieces and the process, I offered them some peace to take home. They loved it.
We started out with 30 or so... All of the rocks are gone now.
Time to make some more peace.

Oh, Patricia, what a wonderful and special idea - free peace, I might just have to borrow your idea some day soon. Thirty rocks gone - that's a lot of visitors.
How was the sidewalk event? Wasn't it this week?
That is beautiful. You must be so happy with the election results. If only we could get it together up here...
How are your Christmas sales going? Have you noticed any difference with the economic downturn?
What a beautiful, inspiring, fun idea!
Thanks Meagan!
Linda and Cheryl - The event was fun, mostly visiting with people. It was my first time so didn't know what to expect, but turned out to be a huge deal for the town. ALL the shopkeepers, even the laundry mat, gave free food and other treats. So, it was more like Halloween. I got more people coming back the next day to shop, so that was good. Christmas sales are slow and all the shop owners are concerned but, since this is my first year with a shop, I don't have anything to compare it to. Ignorance may indeed be bliss!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
free peace! what a fabulous idea! People will be talking about where they got their 'peace'!
