The work I'm enjoying most right now is making functional ware with these squiggly circle graphics. Hope buyers like them too, because I'm stacking up quite a collection!

Those items are HOT, I love your style.
BTW, nice of you to visit pottersblog earlier, it means a lot to have a scary kiln experience and share it with somebody who knows what it is like!
Thanks Gary! Appreciate your comment on the work, AND that you shared your experience on your blog. I've been impressed with how open all the potter bloggers are about their studio "happenings" -- the good and the bad! It's a great way for me to learn.
These are fantastic!
And, about the post below about your workshop with Linda Arbuckle - it looks like so much fun. I don't know much about majolica myself, but I love the way it looks.
Thanks Cynthia! I started doing majolica with my earthenware to get some bright colors going. It's a lot of fun. Now I'm doing more stoneware but it pulls me back every now and then.
Hi Patricia,
Thanks for the compliment on my Cleveland Photo of the West Bank at Dusk. I LOVE your "Going in Circles" motif, It is simple but profound, if that makes any sense.
My other love is ceramics/pottery. In college I majored in studio art with a major in photography and printmaking, and a minor in Art History. I also took a lot of ceramics classes. I love handbuilding low fire white earthenware with underglazes on first firing and clear glazes in 2nd firing. I like throwing too. I found studio space to rent so I am going to be making another batch of lanterns soon. I don't have my own kiln.
I will be checking out your blog on a regular basis. I'm going to add your link to my favorite blogs. Feel free to add mine to yours if you want to.

Hi Patricia, How cool to be visited by an award winning blogger! I enjoyed visiting your own blog and I'm really enjoying my new membership in this circle of potter/writers. Thanks for taking a look.
Great designs! Truly lovely!
Hi Fifi! Thanks for visiting! I also went to yours. What a fun way to start the day!
